Fundy National Park: Swim with the Salmon for Science
This in-depth expedition gives you a rare opportunity to live the life of a biologist and conservationist. You will be personally trained by a Parks Canada biologist to conduct and participate in salmon snorkel surveys and species at risk recovery activities in historic salmon resting pools on the Upper Salmon River. Surrounded by the beauty of the park’s backcountry, you’ll be in the most perfect place to learn about the local cultural history, including a First Nations perspective. No question, this is a truly unique experience. You’ll go home knowing that you have contributed to the ongoing conservation efforts of the endangered Bay of Fundy Atlantic salmon.
